The Yemeni Canadian Community (YCC) is an independent non-profit community organization. Its main purpose is to strengthen relations between members and connect them to the mother land, Yemen.
The community was established on June of 2009 as one of the outcomes of the successful community meeting with His Excellency Mr. Khaled Bahah, Ambassador of Yemen to Canada. The YCC is still a growing community that seeks to represent and respond to the needs of the Yemeni Canadian community in Calgary.
The YCC in Calgary is working hard on getting the base established for a healthy and strong community whose members are proud Yemenis living in Canada as their second home country and proud to be granted Canadian citizenship or seeking for getting it in the near future. We all respect who we are and others around us.
The YCC will be striving to strengthen the bindings between all members preserving the sole Muslim culture as possible.
This community will be the heaven for all of us and our children, our generation and all next generations.
